Deputy Commissioner of Police stresses on strict rotation of duties
The Deputy Commissioner of Police in Bengaluru's North East Division has ordered station officers to implement strict duty rotations and improve administrative oversight. The inspection also addressed police welfare, the disposal of seized vehicles, and the need for better victim support services.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (North East Division), Mithun Kumar G.K., directed station officers to ensure the strict implementation of the rotation of duties among police personnel during the inspection of Amruthahalli Police Station.
The issue was raised by police personnel during the inspection, which also reviewed administration, investigations, personnel welfare and public service delivery.
The inspection was conducted under the directions of the Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City.
During the inspection, the DCP reviewed administrative and investigation records, heard the grievances of police personnel and directed that pending issues be addressed promptly. Besides stressing the implementation of duty rotation, personnel also raised issues relating to the pending Dearness Allowance (DA) settlement of ex-servicemen serving in the police department. The DCP accepted their representation and assured them that the matter would be addressed.
