Deputy CM, Ministers use HMR-TGSRTC common pass to travel by metro rail and bus in Hyderabad
Telangana government officials, including the Deputy Chief Minister, tested the new Hyderabad Metro Rail and TGSRTC bus common pass system. The initiative aims to improve urban mobility by allowing commuters to use a single pass for both transport services.

A day after launching the ambitious Hyderabad Metro Rail – TGSRTC common pass, Deputy Chief Minister accompanied by his cabinet colleagues travelled by a Metro Rail and an RTC bus in the city on Saturday (October 3, 2026) to get first hand understanding of the facilities and gathered passenger feedback.
In continuation of a major step towards improving urban mobility, the State government which had introduced the RTC-Metro Common Pass, allowing commuters to use both Hyderabad Metro Rail and Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus services with a single pass. The Ministers undertook a short journey from Begumpet Metro Station to Jubilee Hills Check Post station.
