DEMU special to run between Hosapete-Arsikere from today
South Western Railway is introducing unreserved DEMU special trains between Hosapete and Arsikere to manage passenger demand. The service will operate five days a week until November 27.

South Western Railway (SWR) will operate unreserved DEMU special trains between Hosapete Junction and Arsikere Junction starting Friday to clear the extra rush of passengers. These special trains will be operated till November 27.
The special services, numbered 07343 and 07344, will run five days a week, Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
Train No 07343, the Hosapete-Arsikere DEMU Special will leave Hosapete at 6.30 a.m. and reach Arsikere at 2.20 p.m. The train will halt at several stations, including Tungabhadra Dam, Vyasanakeri, Vyasa Colony, Mariyamanahalli, Hampapatnam, Hagaribommanahalli, Kotturu, Harapanahalli, Davangere, Chikjajur Junction, Holalkere, Hosdurga Road, Ajjampur, Birur Junction, Kadur and Banavar.
In the return direction, Train No 07344, the Arsikere-Hosapete DEMU Special will leave Arsikere at 2.30 p.m. and arrive at Hosapete at 9.30 p.m. the same day.
