Demand for pro bono funeral rites on the rise as more people die without family
Singapore is seeing an increased demand for pro bono funeral services as more elderly citizens pass away without family support. Charities and volunteers are stepping in to ensure these individuals receive a dignified farewell.

As Singapore’s population ages and family sizes shrink, more people are reaching the end of their lives with little to no family support. An often-unseen network of charities, social workers and funeral directors are stepping in to ensure these seniors are given a dignified farewell.
