Delivery agent held for stripping inside woman’s flat
A delivery agent was arrested in Electronic City, Bengaluru, for allegedly entering a woman's apartment and exposing himself after being denied use of the washroom. Days after a 32-year-old private firm employee was allegedly sexually harassed by a delivery executive at her apartment in Marathahalli, a similar incident has been reported from Electronic City, where a delivery agent was arrested for allegedly entering a woman’s flat on the pretext of using the washroom before stripping and exposing himself.
The accused was caught by residents and a security guard after the woman raised an alarm. He was later handed over to the Hoysala police.
According to the complaint, the woman has been living in the apartment on rent for about a year and had ordered a rental agreement renewal document online on July 17. At around 9.20 a.m., the delivery agent arrived with the document and requested an OTP after handing it over.
