Delimitation Bill is adverse to South Indian States, including Karnataka: Minister Narendra Swamy

“The Delimitation Bill formulated by the Union Government based on the 2011 census is adverse to South Indian states, including Karnataka,” said Minister for Agriculture P.M. Narendra Swamy.
Inaugurating a national-level seminar titled ‘Delimitation 2027-India- Democracy, Federalism, Social Justice and the Future of Karnataka’, organised by the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Study Centre of Dr. Manmohan Singh Bengaluru City University, he criticised the Union government, which he said was trying to achieve unquestionable political dominance by distorting the federal system and the nature of the Constitution.
