NEW DELHI: An inflatable rubber boat was brought inside the House during a general meeting of MCD Monday by AAP councillors to highlight the severity of waterlogging in several parts of the city following heavy rain.AAP councillors first filled the boat with air outside the House and then carried it inside while raising slogans and standing on the benches.Following the disruption, mayor Pravesh Wahi adjourned the House for about 10 minutes. The proceedings resumed later amid exchanges between BJP and Opposition councillors. The meeting continued till 6.30pm.Leader of opposition in the House Anukush Narang alleged BJP had failed to address the “serious” issue.
