Delhi University allots 93,033 seats in first undergraduate admission list
Delhi University has released its first undergraduate admission list, allocating 93,033 seats across 67 colleges. The university over-allocated seats to account for expected withdrawals, with a deadline for fee payment and preference upgrades set for late July.

The University of Delhi on Thursday released the first allocation list for undergraduate admissions, issuing 93,033 seat allotments across 221 programmes in 67 colleges against around 71,600 undergraduate seats.
As in previous years, the university has issued more allotments than the available seats to account for withdrawals and reduce the number of admission rounds.
A total of 2,18,284 candidates registered through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), of whom 2,08,043 completed the preference-filling process. In a statement, the university stated that 42,019 male and 51,014 female candidates have been allotted seats, with an allocation rate of 86.1%.
