Delhi teen raped multiple times by friend; case comes to light after her pregnancy

GURGAON: A POCSO case has been registered after a 17-year-old girl from Delhi allegedly accused her friend of raping her multiple times at a hotel in Gurgaon, police said on Saturday.The case came to light after the teenager became pregnant. An FIR has been registered at the DLF Phase 1 police station under Section 64(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 6 of the POCSO Act, police said.According to police, the 17-year-old girl is originally from Bihar's Samastipur and lives with her family in a rented accommodation in Delhi's Vikas Nagar. She had known the accused since 2025.Police alleged that between January 1 and March 22, 2026, the accused took her to a hotel in Sikanderpur on MG Road in Gurgaon on multiple occasions, where he allegedly raped her.Recently, upon falling ill, she was taken to a hospital by her family.
