Delhi Metro shuts stations owing to Jantar Mantar protest: All you need to know

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation announced the closure of twelve metro stations in the national capital. This comes as Opposition parties, members of AISA, SFI, NSUI and other student bodies, on October 2, 2026, protested against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
DMRC announced on the social media platform X the closure of 11 metro stations in the morning, and the closure of another station around noon.
