NEW DELHI: A 22-year-old man was stabbed 17 times and killed after an altercation with two men near a school in east Delhi’s Mandawali on Thursday evening, with police suspecting that the accused believed the victim was having an affair with his sister.A PCR call about the stabbing was received at 7:54pm, following which police reached near Gyan Vatika School and rushed the injured man, identified as Vansh Dedha, to Max Hospital. He was declared brought dead. Doctors found 17 stab injuries on his body.Preliminary inquiry revealed that Dedha had an altercation with Keshav Kumar, 22, a resident of Karawal Nagar, and his associate. Police suspect Kumar attacked Dedha after believing that he was having an affair with his sister.
