Delhi firm proposes ₹100-crore flight training school in Andhra Pradesh
Knots Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. has proposed a ₹100-crore investment to establish a flight training school in Andhra Pradesh. The project aims to train pilots and create local employment opportunities over the next five years.

Delhi-based Knots Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. has expressed interest in setting up a Flight Training Organisation (FTO) in Andhra Pradesh , with a proposed investment of around ₹100 crore over the next five years. The proposal was discussed at a meeting between Investments and Infrastructure Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy and the company’s representative, Athiraj Singh Chawla, at the Secretariat on Thursday (July 23, 2026).
The company, which has experience in pilot training infrastructure, aviation training programmes and domestic as well as international training services, proposed setting up the FTO either at Nagarjuna Sagar Airport or Kurnool Airport. According to the company, the project is expected to generate employment for nearly 100 people in the initial phase.
