Delhi Election Commission publishes names excluded from Delhi electoral roll
The Delhi Election Commission has published a list of voters excluded from the draft electoral roll following a Special Intensive Revision. Officials are currently conducting hearings to address discrepancies in names and birth dates for the 47 lakh voters affected.

The Delhi Election Commission (EC) has published online a list of name discrepancies and dates of birth of residents in the draft SIR list and is sending notices to the persons named to present documents, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Ashok Kumar said on Saturday (September 19, 2026).
On August 31, the ECI published a draft electoral roll, excising 47 lakh of the city’s 1.45 crore voters. The draft roll removed one in every three Delhi voters as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list.
The electoral roll officer teams are holding camps for hearings, Mr. Kumar, adding that if necessary, the number of camps would be increased.
