Delhi CM launches 53 projects worth ₹214 cr. in unauthorised colonies
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has launched 53 infrastructure projects worth ₹214 crore aimed at improving roads and drainage in unauthorised colonies. The initiative is part of a month-long campaign celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years in public service.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday laid the foundation stone for 53 development projects worth ₹214.12 crore in unauthorised colonies across five Assembly constituencies, according to a release from the CM’s office. The initiative, launched as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, is expected to provide permanent relief from waterlogging and dilapidated roads to 1.75 lakh residents once completed.
The projects will be undertaken in five Assembly seats of Kirari, Bawana, Mundka, Narela, and Nangloi Jat.
Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is a month-long nationwide campaign running from September 17 to October 17, 2026, launched to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Gupta said the Delhi government’s objective is to strengthen basic civic amenities in parts of the city that have long faced problems related to basic infrastructure.
