NEW DELHI: A 40-year-old cab driver was found stabbed to death inside his car in east Delhi's Krishna Nagar Thursday night, with police suspecting that the attackers were passengers who had hired the vehicle shortly before the incident.Vijay Kumar, a resident of West Vinod Nagar, was found with multiple stab wounds in the driver's seat. His wallet, phone and other belongings were found in inside the vehicle, leading police to suspect that robbery was not the motive.Police said a PCR call was received around 9pm about a man found stabbed in a car near metro pillar no. 90 in Krishna Nagar.When police reached the spot, they found the Wagon R abandoned by the roadside. The injured driver had already been taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.During preliminary investigation, police officers found no signs of theft.
