GURGAON: In a horrific accident on the Dwarka Expressway on Friday afternoon, a cab driver was killed after an iron rod protruding from an e-rickshaw pierced his chest during a collision, police said.A woman passenger travelling in the cab sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital.According to police, the accident took place around 2 pm when the cab collided with an e-rickshaw carrying long iron rods on the expressway.Several rods were jutting out from the three-wheeler without warning signs or markers indicating the overhang.The impact crushed the front portion of the cab, sending one of the iron rods through the windshield and into the driver’s chest.
