It has been a long time since Telugu cinema normalised stalking as a form of love, where women inevitably respond in the affirmative to a man’s tireless pursuits. From Idiot to Arya, and Sarrainodu to Peddi , every film-watching generation has experienced this to some degree. It is disheartening that not much has changed with emerging voices in the industry too, the latest addition being Deewana .
