Death of Patience Akyianu reported in Ghana - MyJoyOnline

--> Ghana has reported the death of Patience Enyonam Akyianu, the former managing director of Barclays Bank Ghana and group CEO of Hollard Ghana Holdings. CEO Network Ghana announced this in a statement, MyJoyOnline reports. The outlet notes that the circumstances of her reported death have not been independently confirmed.

CEO Network Ghana described this as a painful loss for the business community and expressed condolences to Akyianu's family, colleagues, friends and loved ones. The organization added that it would provide further details after receiving information from the family.

According to her profile on the Ghana Stock Exchange, Akyianu had more than 26 years of experience in banking and finance. Before moving into insurance in 2018, she had worked in the banking industry for 17 years.
