On July 19th, peacefully at home in the presence of his loving family after a long illness bravely borne. Beloved husband of Sheila (nee Hayes), devoted father to Patrick, Michael, Helen and James. Michael will be deeply missed by his brothers Pat and James, sister Eileen (O'Connell), daughters-in-law Charlotte and Daiva, Helen's partner Martin, mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Fred and Polly, Robbie and Ryan, Hugh and Fergus, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Nellie Whyte, brothers Johnny and Denis, brother-in-law Ted O'Connell and his sister-in-law Eileen Whyte.
