Deadline for updating e-KYC for members in family cards is July 31
The Virudhunagar district administration has mandated that all family card members update their e-KYC by July 31. Residents must register their fingerprints at local ration shops, with specific provisions for those living away from home or needing to remove deceased members.

Virudhunagar district administration has asked all members registered in family cards to register their fingerprints for updating e-KYC by July 31.
In a statement, District Collector N.O. Sukhaputra said those who had not complied with the e-KYC verification should register their fingerprints by visiting their ration shops. However, those family members who were away from home owing to job could go to the nearest ration shop in their present place of dwelling and register their fingerprints.
Similarly, the family members should approach the Taluk Supply Officer by July 25 for removing the names of their family members who had deceased by producing required documents. The Collector said otherwise, they should submit the copy of Aadhaar cards to salesman in their ration shop.
