DCI, in a scathing statement on the evening of Tuesday, August 11, dismissed Gachagua's claims as "baseless", as they accused the former Deputy President of making explosive allegations against the agency to undermine public confidence in law enforcers.
“The DCI has taken note of a litany of baseless and unsubstantiated allegations by the former Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua, touching on the DCI,” the agency said.
