On Thursday (July 30), Sun Pictures unveiled the trailer for DC , the upcoming Tamil action film directed by Arun Matheswaran. Starring Wamiqa Gabbi as the female lead, the film features acclaimed director Lokesh Kanagaraj in his debut as a lead actor.
The 150-second trailer, set to a high-tempo Carnatic score by Anirudh Ravichander, reveals little about the film's plot. Lokesh appears as Devadas, a mean-looking brute who wreaks havoc on his enemies, especially corrupt cops. Wamiqa appears as Chandra, a woman who seems to be on a quest for revenge. Meanwhile, we also see glimpses of Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, who plays Devadas’ love interest in the film. The trailer of DC promises an intense, gory, violence-heavy drama in quintessential Arun Matheswaran fashion.
