BENGALURU: A 31-year-old newly-married woman allegedly died after consuming poison in Nelamangala near Bengaluru, with police suspecting she took the extreme step after a conversation with her husband.Tanuja, a native of Beerammanahalli village in Gauribidanur, died while undergoing treatment at the Nelamangala Government Hospital.According to police, the incident took place at Basavanahalli in Nelamangala. Tanuja had recently married Ravindra, a resident of Mayasandra in Yelahanka, after the two fell in love.Police said the couple first got to know each other while travelling to work. Their friendship eventually blossomed into a relationship, and they later got married at Dharmasthala.However, after the marriage, Ravindra allegedly told Tanuja that he would inform his family about their marriage after some time. Until then, she continued to live separately in a rented house in Yelahanka.On the day of the incident, Tanuja reportedly called Ravindra and asked him to come home.
