Heavy rainfall, severe thunderstorms and heightened flood risk are making their way across the country, Bureau of Meteorology Senior Meteorologist David Crock warned.
Over the next three days, the system will make its way over central and South Australia and into Victoria and New South Wales.
"We saw this low-pressure system first develop on Saturday over Western Australia," Crock said.
Rain will spread across South Australia, the Northern Territory and then into Victoria and New South Wales.
Crock said "plenty of rain and storms" are being brought across the country.
