DAVIS COUNTY, Iowa (KCCI) - A measles outbreak in southern Iowa has the Davis Community School District taking preventative measures.
The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has confirmed at least 12 new cases. There’s evidence the virus has spread from person to person.
On Tuesday the school district deployed what’s called their “Mustang Mobile Micro-grid.” It’s essentially a mobile generator that uses solar power. The Microgrid helped power a mobile hospital in the community.
