Dasara Fine Arts and Handicrafts camp gets under way at CAVA
The Dasara Fine Arts and Handicrafts camp has officially opened at the Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Art in Mysore. The four-day event features exhibitions, live demonstrations, and competitions for students to promote traditional and contemporary arts.

Minister of Kannada and Culture Shivaraj Tangadagi inaugurated the Dasara Fine Arts and Handicrafts camp on the Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Art(CAVA) premises on Sunday evening.
The four day art event will conclude on October 14 while an Art Fair would be held on October 18 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Members of CAVA alumni association will perform during the Art Fair.
The Dasara Fine Arts and Handicrafts subcommittee had invited artworks from both amateur and professional artists across the State for exhibition and sale.
Art work made in sand casting, print making and wall painting are there on display. National and State level handicraft artisans are participating in exhibition and sale.
