Four notable films will vie for attention during the Dasara festive period in the Telugu States. Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer 2 , directed by Nelson Dilipkumar , will be the first to arrive in theatres on October 15, in Tamil and dubbed Telugu versions. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s period drama Ranabaali , directed by Rahul Sankrityan, follows suit on October 16. Both of these big-budget films hope to draw the maximum footfall.

The trade circles in the Telugu film industry have traditionally considered the Dasara and Sankranti festive seasons to be the most lucrative, with people being more willing to spend during the cash-rich holiday season.
