Dasara 2026: Cooking without fire competition on October 13

The Women and Children Dasara sub-committee is hosting a 'Cooking without Fire' competition on October 13 in J.K. Ground. Participants must be women over 18, and registration is limited to the first 50 applicants.

As part of Dasara festivities, Women and Children Dasara sub committee has organised a unique ‘Cooking without Fire’ competition on October 13 from 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. at J.K. Ground.
Interested women above 18 years of age can register their name on or before October 12 before 6 p.m. Late entries will not allowed. Only the first 50 registered participants will be allowed to take part in the competition, according to a press statement here.
As per the rules of competition, participants must bring required items including ingredients to the venue of the competition. Bringing pre-cooked items, chopped vegetables or fruits is strictly not allowed and only on spot preparation is permitted.
