ISLAMABAD - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar will lead Pakistan delegation at ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Foreign Ministers' Meeting, being held on July 22- 23, where Pakistan is expected to intensify its diplomatic outreach through a series of high-level bilateral engagements with key regional and global partners.
According to diplomatic sources, Dar will represent Pakistan at the ministerial gathering, which brings together foreign ministers from the 10 ASEAN member states and 17 dialogue partners, including Pakistan, China, Russia, the United States, Japan, India, Australia, the European Union and South Korea. On the sidelines of the meeting, the deputy prime minister is expected to hold separate bilateral meetings with several foreign ministers, including his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, besides interacting with other participating ministers.
