Dana White praises Payton Talbott's 'absolutely dominant' UFC 332 win

UFC President Dana White praised Payton Talbott's dominant performance at UFC 332 despite the fighter not receiving a performance bonus. White noted that the high volume of finishes on the card made bonus selection competitive.
Why it matters
The UFC's bonus structure and fighter promotion strategies are central to the business model of professional mixed martial arts.
Dana White explained why Payton Talbott did not get a bonus for his UFC 332 win.
Talbott (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) ran through former champion Deiveson Figueiredo (25-8-1 MMA, 14-8-1 UFC) for a first-round TKO in Saturday's co-headliner at Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
In his post-fight interview in the octagon, Talbott called for the bonus, but Joe Rogan admitted that with 11 finishes on the night, it could be hard. The $100K was awarded to Roman Kopylov, Imanol Rodriguez, Damian Pinas, and Johnny Walker, who like Talbott, all knocked out their opponents in Round 1.
