Mr Kassy Chukwu, the Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media to Edo State governor, Monday Okpebholo, has apologised to Nigerian music star, Davido over his controversial remarks barring the singer from performing in the state. In a video posted on X, Saturday, Chukwu also apologised to the people of Edo State, stating that his earlier remarks were made in his personal capacity and without the permission of the state governor. According to the governor’s aide, he made the initial video after taking offence at comments attributed to Davido concerning the governor and his children.
