Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday (September 21, 2026) night flagged off the Dadar-Puducherry Express at Kuppam railway station, marking the start of the train’s new halt here.
After showing the green signal, the Chief Minister spoke to passengers at the station and received representations from several of them.
The halt for Train No. 11005 fulfils a long-cherished demand of the people of Kuppam, officials said, and will give passengers better rail connectivity.
Railway services were being expanded as per the needs of the people of Kuppam, the Chief Minister said.
