‘D 56’: Dhanush and Vadivelu to share screen space; film goes on floors
Filming for the Tamil movie 'D 56', starring Dhanush and Vadivelu, has officially commenced following a traditional pooja ceremony. The film is directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu and marks a new collaboration for the lead actors, while Dhanush has also announced the postponement of his other film, 'OM', to avoid a box office clash.

The filming of Dhanush’s upcoming movie, tentatively titled D 56 , has begun. The Tamil movie is directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu of Lubber Pandhu fame.
D 56 is the first collaboration between Dhanush and Pachamuthu. The movie is jointly produced by Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments, Haritha Lingasamy of Primark Productions and Sai Soujanya of Srikar Studios.
The shooting commenced with a special pooja at the Karuppasamy Temple in Maranadu, Sivagangai district, near Madurai. The event was attended by the film’s cast and crew along with several prominent personalities. Veteran actor Vadivelu is set to play a prominent roel in the movie.
