Czapek goes transparent with the new Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue

Czapek & Cie has released the Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue, a limited edition watch featuring a smoked sapphire dial that reveals the skeletonized Calibre SXH7 movement. The watch is a line extension of the Promenade collection, maintaining the 38mm stainless steel case design.
Why it matters
This release highlights the trend of 'transparent' watchmaking, where technical movement architecture is prioritized as a primary aesthetic feature.
Czapek expands the Promenade collection with the Transparencies Aqua Blue with a smoked sapphire dial to subtly showcase the movement.

We have covered the Promenade collection at launch with in 2023 during Watches & Wonders, and subsequently the Plissé in 2025 and the Goutte de Rosée in 2026. We skipped the Transparencies Viridian Blue which was released in 2024. This novelty in Aqua Blue is a line extension of the Promenade collection, but also another take at the smoked, fumé dial. The concept is to allow a peek-a-boo into the magnificent movement, so that the beauty of the architecture and finissage can be observed through the dial.
