Cyberabad SHE Teams nabbed 18 persons while allegedly indulging in indecent acts at public places during 109 decoy operations conducted between August 15 and 21.

The teams booked 17 petty cases and counselled those involved. They also received 25 complaints from women through various channels during the week. Three petty cases were registered based on these complaints, while the remaining persons were counselled, according to the Cyberabad Women and Child Safety Wing.

During the same period, the Cyberabad Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) rescued two victims and apprehended four persons in two cases registered under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. The unit also rescued two boys and apprehended two persons in a case registered under the Juvenile Justice Act.

Family Counselling Centres and CDEW Centres helped reunite 32 families involved in disputes between husbands and wives during the week.
