Cyberabad agencies collaborate to tackle monsoon flooding, potholes and traffic bottlenecks
Cyberabad officials held a convergence meeting to coordinate efforts between police and civic agencies to address monsoon-related infrastructure issues. The plan focuses on repairing potholes, improving traffic signal functionality, and preventing waterlogging on major roads.

With the monsoon expected to put further pressure on Cyberabad’s roads , the police and civic agencies have decided to jointly tackle waterlogging, potholes, traffic bottlenecks and infrastructure-related problems affecting commuters.
A convergence meeting of various stakeholder departments was held at the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate on Monday (August 10, 2026), where officials reviewed ongoing road improvement works, traffic management and monsoon preparedness across the commissionerate.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh; Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) Commissioner Srijana; HMWS&SB Managing Director Ashok Reddy; TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Jitesh V. Patil and TGIIC Vice-Chairman and Managing Director K. Shashanka participated in the meeting along with traffic police and officials from other departments.
The CMC and Traffic Police officials jointly identified stretches requiring urgent repairs, particularly roads with badly damaged surfaces and potholes. Locations requiring new free-lefts or improvements to existing ones were also identified to enable smoother movement at busy junctions.
