The Central University of Andhra Pradesh (CUAP) conducted a Baseline Household Survey at Reddipalli village under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) programme. The survey was organised by the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Committee in collaboration with the Department of Economics, with the participation of faculty members and students.
According to a press release by the CUAP, the survey aimed to understand the socio-economic conditions and developmental needs of rural households. Information was collected on education, occupation, income, agriculture, housing, sanitation, healthcare, and access to government welfare schemes.
Faculty members guided the students in visiting households, interacting with villagers, and collecting information. The survey provided practical learning opportunities for students and helped them understand the major challenges faced by rural communities.
The collected data will be analysed to prepare a baseline profile of Reddipalli village and identify areas requiring attention for future development.
