CSMT Express to short-terminate at Thane
Train services on the Mangaluru-Mumbai route are facing disruptions due to platform improvement work at CSMT and non-interlocking works in the South Eastern Railway. Several express trains have been short-terminated or cancelled through early August.

These infrastructure upgrades cause significant travel delays for commuters and long-distance passengers relying on the Konkan and Southern Railway networks.
Train No. 12134, Mangaluru Junction – Mumbai Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Express, will continue to short-terminate at Thane till July 30.
Releases from the Konkan and Southern Railways here said the short-termination was to facilitate platform improvement work at the CSMT. The service remains cancelled between Thane and CSMT during the period.
The Railways has cancelled the operation of Train No. 22851/852 Santragachi Junction – Mangaluru Central-Santragachi Junction Weekly Express on July 30 and August 1.
