CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) Chief Scientist and Director of the CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nagpur, has been elected a Fellow of the prestigious Indian National Science Academy (INSA). Dr. Mohan has been recognised for his significant contributions to environmental engineering and sustainable technologies. His research focuses on developing science-driven solutions to address complex environmental challenges through environmental biotechnology, resource recovery, wastewater treatment, bio-electrochemical systems, circular biorefineries and decarbonisation. Over the years, his multidisciplinary research programme has led to the development of technologies that have progressed from laboratory-scale studies to field-level applications.
