A 30-year-old CRPF constable was found dead at his residence in Indiranagar, Borabanda, on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Gadde Pavan Kumar. According to the police, he went into the bathroom while his wife was at home. When he did not come out, family members checked on him and found him hanging.
With the help of neighbours, the family opened the bathroom door and alerted the police. Police reached the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway. Police said family members told them that Pavan Kumar had been under financial stress.
