CRPF ADG Ravideep Singh Sahi retires after 40 years service

Ravideep Singh Sahi, Additional Director General (ADG) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Southern Region retired on Wednesday (September 30, 2026) after over four decades of distinguished service.
A 1986-batch CRPF officer, Mr. Sahi served in some of the country’s most challenging operational areas , including Jammu and Kashmir, Chhattisgarh and the North-East. One of his most notable achievements was his tenure as IG, Srinagar Sector, from 2016 to 2020, when he played a key role in anti-terror operations and maintaining law and order during the sensitive period surrounding the abrogation of Article 370 . He was also instrumental in enhancing the operational capabilities of the CRPF’s Quick Action Teams in the Kashmir Valley.
