Crackdown on power theft intensified, strict directives issued on recovery targets, monsoon safety

MUZAFFARGARH - The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) Muzaffargarh Circle has stepped up its campaign against electricity theft while issuing strict directives to achieve recovery targets and ensure public safety during the ongoing monsoon season.
According to MEPCO Muzaffargarh Circle Public Relations Officer Aftab Ahmad, an important online review meeting was chaired by Superintending Engineer Muhammad Waseem Akhtar at the Circle Office. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commercial Manager Irshad Hussain Sial, Deputy Director Technical Engineer Manzoor Hussain Surani, SDO Planning Ata-ur-Rehman, and other field officers, while Executive Engineers (XENs), SDOs, Revenue Officers, and relevant officials from Muzaffargarh, Khan Garh, Kot Addu, Layyah, and Alipur divisions joined via video link.
The meeting reviewed uninterrupted power supply, the ongoing anti-power theft campaign, progress on recovery drives, the status of defective (mute) meters, batch-wise and overall recoveries, PDISC recovery performance, line losses, and the efficiency of Customer Facilitation Centres (CFCs).
