Court to hear whether state and UK fugitive Tshuma reached a plea agreement
A South African court is determining whether a UK fugitive, accused of murdering his family, will enter a plea agreement regarding local firearm charges. The outcome of these negotiations could impact the timeline for his potential extradition back to the United Kingdom.

At Tshuma’s last court appearance, prosecutors told the court investigations into both matters had been finalised and that the state was ready to proceed with the extradition application and firearm case.
The court also heard that the state and defence were in negotiations over a possible plea agreement.
