KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court will decide in January next year on the application by 1MDB and 10 other companies to freeze Rosmah Mansor’s assets pending the disposal of their US$346 million lawsuit against her.

Judicial Commissioner Adam @ Edward Abdullah fixed Jan 7 to hear and decide on the plaintiffs’ Mareva injunction application during case management today.

A Mareva injunction is an order preventing a defendant from disposing of or dealing with their assets while legal proceedings are ongoing.

Counsel Sheena Stephanie Sebastian represented Rosmah, while Henna Nikita Sanghvi represented 1MDB.
