Court moved over insult to woman officer, Hindalga Jail
An official from Hindalga Central Jail has filed a legal complaint against two individuals for allegedly spreading defamatory videos involving a woman officer. The complaint claims the videos damage the reputation of the institution and the state government.

An officer of the Hindalga Central Jail filed a complaint with a local court against two people for insulting a woman officer of the jail and damaging the reputation of the institution.
Assistant Superintendent of the jail Mallikarjun Konnur filed a private complaint with the second JMFC court seeking action against Saikumar Nagalingaiah alias Kunigal Suri and a social media influencer Sandhya Nagaraj.
He has charged them with spreading widely on social media videos of a woman officer of the jail “making nude video calls” to a prison inmate a few years ago.
The two people have used images of the jail, the Chief Minister, the Home Minister, the Director-General of Police and the Additional Director-General of Police Prisons in those messages and made wild allegations that these dignitaries have allowed illegal and immoral activities by the jail staff.
