Lindsay Kennedy has faced trial in the Northern Territory Supreme Court this week for the alleged murder of his former partner, Colleen Bradshaw.

Jurors were shown CCTV footage of Mr Kennedy violently assaulting Ms Bradshaw days before her death in Royal Darwin Hospital from "blunt force head trauma".

The jury is expected to begin deliberations next week.
