A couple was killed after a car allegedly rammed into their two-wheeler from behind near Kugenahalli Gate in Doddaballapur taluk of Bengaluru Rural district.
The deceased have been identified as Lakshmaiah, 55, a native of Kattihosahalli, and his wife Anita, 45.
According to the police, the couple had attended a family programme at their house and later visited a relative’s residence to participate in a Harikatha programme. After the programme, they were returning home on their two-wheeler when a car approaching from behind hit their vehicle near Kugenahalli Gate.
