Westkent1023 asks: Milton Mueller, professor and program Director of Science in Cybersecurity Policy at Georgia Tech in the US has argued in a peer-reviewed paper in the Journal of Cyber Policy that the idea of AGI posing an existential risk to humans is an ‘unscientific myth’ that defies ‘economic constraints and even basic laws of physics’. Such claims he suggests distract and distort proper digital governance of risks from AI in its current form. What do you think of these arguments?
