The unlicensed and unregistered units were functioning in Mattuthavani, Sambakulam and K. Pudur.
A statement said that Public Health Officials sealed the units based on the directive of Madurai Corporation Commissioner, Gaurav Kumar, based the recommendations of Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board.
