KUALA LUMPUR: A preliminary investigation report by police into the recently leaked KLIA confrontation video will be sent to the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) on Tuesday (Oct 6), says Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

The Home Minister said the AGC would determine whether the investigation papers were complete or whether further action was required.

"There is a strong possibility the AGC will direct further steps to ensure the investigation papers are convincing and have sufficient basis for a case," he told the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Oct 6).

This comes after a viral video showed Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) director-general Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain reprimanding an individual at KLIA on Sept 28.

Saifuddin said police were also investigating how the video was leaked and subsequently spread widely.
